NRH Mobile Notary Public provides appointment-based mobile notary services for incarcerated individuals at Twin Towers Correctional Facility (TTCF) in downtown Los Angeles.
My service is intended for families, attorneys, law offices and others who need an incarcerated person to complete a legitimate notarization.
Before I Schedule the Visit
- Incarcerated person’s full legal name
- Date of birth
- LASD booking number, if available
- Current facility/housing information
- Requesting party’s contact information
- Copy or clear description of the document
Why Advance Preparation Matters
A correctional-facility visit requires travel, security processing and coordination. The document should therefore be substantially complete and ready for the signer before the visit.
A California Notary Public cannot act as the signer’s attorney or decide how a legal document should be completed. If an attorney prepared the document, questions about its legal contents should be addressed with the attorney before the notary appointment whenever possible.
Facility Conditions
Twin Towers controls admission, security and movement within the facility. Access may be affected by facility operations, lockdowns, signer availability, security decisions or other conditions outside the notary’s control.
California Notary Requirements
A correctional setting does not eliminate California’s identification and notarial requirements. I must complete the notarization in accordance with California law and cannot proceed when the legal requirements for the requested notarial act have not been satisfied.
